Tenacious Tuesdays: Glass Ceilings & Champagne

Thanks to Wonder Woman, WomanUp, the Economic Bruncheon, and the WWBC Women’s Business Conference, the summer of 2017 has truly been a local celebration of female strength!

To continue that theme into fall, FemCity Asheville is launching their new monthly networking event, “Tenacious Tuesdays: Glass Ceilings & Champagne” on Tuesday, September 12th. Held in the stunning Century Room of Pack’s Tavern in Downtown Asheville, September will mark the unveiling of a powerful monthly convergence of WNC women business leaders. (Meetings will be held on the FIRST Tuesday of the month, starting in October)

The event will host two entrepreneur keynotes:

“A CEO’s path to self love: How I learned to Adore Myself” with Laura McCann

Laura McCann, CEO & Co-founder of Adoratherapy shares lessons learned over four start ups and 25 years of entrepreneurship. From fashion to tech and then consulting, Laura ended up in Asheville growing an aromatherapy company focused on self love and care. Transformation may come in a bottle and Laura will share how faith, confidence and breathe changed her approach to leadership.

“The Future is Female” with Emily Breedlove

Branding Specialist and Growth Strategist, Emily Breedlove will keynote on the changing landscape of women’s leadership and business support across Western North Carolina. Her presentation, “The Future is Female,” will share insight on the most effective ways for local women entrepreneurs to collaboratively grow more prosperous and meaningful business opportunities.
